But I'm not here to boast about that.... or, well, yes I am... I'm a Papa.. it's what we do.... but actually... here to discuss nicknames...

The President of Kerman Youth Football.. going on 25 years now, gave my grandson his nickname...ummm.... 5 years ago? He was Elijah's coach when Elijah began playing football... as a Mighty Mite. No idea how he came up with it or why... but he nicknamed him "Moose". Today?

That's his name. To my knowledge I'm the only person that ever uses his given name of Elijah. He's "Moose"... to every one. He's "Moose" to his teachers.

By the way... it's pronounced "Moooooooooooooooooooooooooose". Tonight when he was announced as the MVP all his fellow teammates, AND their parents, AND fans who had seen him play... sang out... "MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSEEEE".
