Ya gotta love All Star Games...

Got one more football game coming up this weekend... the youth football All Star game... my grandson made the team. Well, one more unless my grandson on our HS team makes the Fresno City/County All star game next summer... he's got a good chance.

All Star practices all start the same.... 7, (or however many teams representing), teams all standing apart from each other... eyeing the other All Stars - "I remember him" "That kid from Reedley is good" "There's that kid that hits so hard". Practice begins.

At the end of practice they're no longer apart... you'd swear they had played together all year. "Hey cya tomorrow" "Are you playing basketball? Baseball?"

Elijah was assigned, chose? I'm not sure. #82. Odd for a RB/LB don't you think?

The town that was meant to host the All Star games can not.... their HS won the Valley Division Championship so they will now host the first State Playoff game... field had to be moved. Guess where? My home town!!! Yup... I will only travel one mile to watch the All Star Games.
