Re: Well...... Back to the Doctor. My Abdominal aches are back and more persistent.

My son has colitis and when it flares, he suffers. A few years ago he was in the hospital for about a week. I think they gave him several units of blood while he was there. He didn't know what the heck was wrong with him at the time and that hospitalization is when they did tons of tests and scans and finally were able to tell him it was colitis. I can't remember the medication he takes now but I know he gives himself a shot. I think Mark said it would cost him around $700/month. But I think the pharmaceutical company subsidizes it cause he pays next to nothing. He has lots of problems with diarrhea and abdominal pain. He misses work sometimes due to the pain and discomfort.

If you had colitis, I think you'd know.
