There's an operation surgeons can do to shrink the prostate without removing the gland. Many do it robotically-usually at a University-that way the surgeon's hands are not working in a pool of blood. I've had the surgery at USC and now pee like I was 10 yrs old. A good analogy is this: take an orange. suck out the fruit, the remaining skin then shrinks around what's left, meaning the prostate gland is no longer "enlarged".

I just got so tired of catheters and going back and forth to the ER.
