He was signing at a Jacksonville Suns (AA for the Royals back then) It was Spring 1979. I always remember him asking my name. When I told him "Robert" he said.. Oh? I should be able to spell that! He said it was nice to meet me. I remember how he spoke with EVERYONE. I thought that was pretty cool.
Now Mickey Mantle?? He was at a Suns game later that same year and a friend's Dad told us that he was not very nice at all. Acted bothered that he was there.
