In the 70's and 80's there were so many that I loved to watch. Nearly all of them in the lighter weight classes.
I was a huge fan of Alexis Arguello, Carlos Monzon, Julio Chavez, Hector Camacho, Ray Mancini, the list is very long.
But the boxer I very first became a super-fan of was Floyd Patterson. The Liston fight crushed me.
The oldest boxer I remember actually seeing, even though I'm sure I saw older boxers, was Archie Moore.
