I thought back to what is STILL my favorite Horror flick...The ORIGINAL "The Fog". The very first time I saw it was at my Buds house. After it was over, I walk....err.....HAULED A$$ home in THICK fog!!! LOL As a crossed the bridge this morning, I found myself looking for Blake!!! LOL Seriously...The Fog was on TV just 3-4 days ago. Caught the last half. I REALLY REALLY love the atmosphere of that movie. You hardly ever see the Ghosts and UNLIKE TODAY, 12,432 jumps scares with the cliche screatch music was not used. The dialog is never loud. Even the Music that Stevie (Barbeau) Wayne plays from the Lighthouse ....Smooth Jazz / Big Band stuff adds to it. Never liked Horror Flicks that bust into Heavy Metal stuff at "scary" moments. I also like how there's a feeling of isolation in The Fog.
