never thought about wearing them for work... maybe yard work... definitely not to farm in.

Yeah, I liked them. As I said, I'm a big fan of Merrell's. In fact all those brands I listed above I've liked a lot. The most durable I'd say were the Vasque's. And amazingly I left out my #1 choice in boots... Danner. Saloman's should have made my list as well.

for hiking I'm currently wearing a pair of Hoka's... definitely soft and comfortable but they're new so no idea on durability yet.
