I got the first shingles vaccine years ago and then flat out REFUSED to get the second.. Why? Cuz for two weeks that was the sickest I had ever been in my life.. Flu-like symptoms SO bad I missed two weeks of work..

Despite my grandfather getting shingles (which actually saved his life as he was in a Russian gulag at the time and they let him go home) I decided I'd rather risk getting shingles than getting another shingles vaccine shot..

So, best of luck to you - I hope you don't have the issues I had..
