In Basic training we were given all our shots in one day at the very start of Basic. I forget how many... a lot. Some with needles and others with that new gun they had invented. The next day we were in agony. So how did our Drill Sargeants reward us?
We had to go thru the horizontal ladder..... only a few of us made it. All of us nearly in tears.
BTW... as a bonus I caught Hep C... they reused needles in those days. Had Hep C for some 40 years after that until cured somewhere around 2010.
As for vaccines, I've never had a problem with them. The only bad one was my first pneumonia vaccine which not only hurt worse than any shot I had ever received but left me so sore my arm was unusable for days after. No problem with the pneumonia vaccine since that first time. - JamesJM
