A single 30 minute up down in a Cessna 150 one time and then a month or so later a cross country flight with 3 kids and the instructor. Oceanside to Palm Springs ,to I don't remember, to Long Beach, back to Oceanside.
I flew from Palm Springs to ?, as I did the approach to land instructor asked if I had noticed anything. I said yes, the wind sock shows a strong cross wind. He landed looking across me, kicked rudder ( iirc thats how you land )and almost stopped.
3 1/2 hours of flight time in my book.
