would correlate with the increase in other things like energy, insurance, transportation, the ingredients....this isn't gouging...it's trying to stay afloat. Same thing with the man saying the gas stations are gouging when they actually make next to nothing on the price of their gas...they rely on the walk in buying stuff inside the station.
These franchises have huge overhead to deal with....they are not gouging the public, IMO it's the government drowning the businesses......Unfortunately it looks like everyone in the upper levels of the fed. government has never run any business, they have been within the bureaucratic world or worse yet behind a college desk/book....no hands on knowledge....
This is what happens when someone says people flipping burgers should be paid $15 more an hour......the money going out has to come back somewhere or you close the doors.
