My girlfriend knew him and we were at the front of the stage. This is when Blue on Black came out. I don't remember anything about it. Being a guitarist myself, I think there was some animosity toward him... maybe not the right word... jealousy probably but that's not quite it either. I don't know if guitarists kind of downplay talent of other guitarists if they aren't their heroes. lol. He's an excellent guitarist though, especially in the STV/Hendrix niche he has cut out for himself.

Anyway, he invited my girlfriend to "go on tour" with them... which I would have been fine with TBH...
