I'll give them an hour... that's it. Most of my doctors, I have 4, are not bad... an hour at MOST... but one... horrible.
I have never waited less than 3 hours to see the one. My first visit, after having a stint put in, I waited 7 hours... I only did so because after the stint I figured I better pay attention, no more.
Good story from today - I waited an hour... gave up and got in line with the checkout lady, (not sure what their title is), to reschedule.... but they called me in when I was next in line to set up a reschedule. So I went to the actual room to meet the Doc. 10 minutes, 20, 30, 45, and 55 minutes. I had reached my limit and opened the door to find a nurse to explain that I was outta there.... and while waiting a guy in the room across the hall opened his door, looked over at me and asked, "How long you been waiting". I replied a little over 2 hours... he replied back, "Me too".... then he paused for a moment then added... "Wanna get the hell out of here?".
"Yup", my reply, so arm in arm, (figuratively), we walked out of the patient section, thru the reception area, down the stairs, out the front door, into the parking lot, said goodby to each other and drove off.
It was my heart doctor and I was only there to hear the results. I figure it this way: If the results were bad I'm damn sure they'll contact me one way or the other... they ain't about to pass up that level of payment. - JamesJM
