I had done 3 or 4 rooms already - by myself.. My wife decides she's gonna help with the hallway and the kitchen, which was the plan for the day.. So, I get her a separate ladder, a separate putty knife, and a separate water sprayer..

I spray a section of ceiling for her and we let it soak in for a couple of minutes.. she climbs the ladder, scrapes about 3 inches, gets covered in soggy popcorn because she didn't scrape from the proper angle, climbs down the ladder and says, "I'll contribute by making lunch".. and never scrapes another kernel of popcorn..

Her popcorn scraping experience lasted literally (and I always say "literally" because Jimmy stated one time how much he hated when people misused the term) 3 seconds..
