My Wife rented this house for 2 years before we married. August will be our 10th anniversary. In those 12 years, she has often mentioned that she'd love to have new cabinets. Since we are about to re do our shower and in the CLOSE future, total new AC, I have heard her switch her tone and say she wants to paint them. She has never said that before. It's the kind of girl she is. Doesn't ask for the world when she knows we have spent a lot or about to spend a lot. I figure.....The shower, AC and cabinets are the very last of the major upgrades............and removing our Popcorn ceilings (We BOTH hate those!) Once we get that done, we should be set. Besides, she NEVER EVER has griped or even made hints when I spend $$$$$ to see a football game, Buy a $130 plastic model ship. In fact, she's excited for ME when I do.
