First day working from home..

while watching Mauie.. She, for the most part, has to stay in a crate WITH a cone of shame on, to keep her from gnawing her incision.. The first few hours she was sleeping, thanks to the Trazadone the Vet game her.. then she woke up.. so, I walked her, on a leash, around the backyard, through the house, back to the backyard.. then I fed them all and she got boiled chicken (they all did).. and it was time to go back in the crate...

Oh hell no... I could see those words in her eyes.. she was staring daggers through me and mentally envisioning my painful death.. So, I walked her around a bit and she lay down on one of the 5-6 doggy beds we have stationed around the house... So, I just let her lie down and sleep where she wanted.. But, I have to keep an eye on her, which means I don't get any work done.. darn it..
