We lost both of our cats 12 days apart. BOTH were attacked by another animal. We found the first already deceased and our other SOMEHOW made it home but passed the next day. That was 29 Oct 2020. I was thinking that I was DONE with animals. My Wife mentioned getting another but we were thinking at least 6 months to a year before going there. A couple of days after we lost Colonel / cat #2, SST said that losing two opens the door for two more to have a loving home. About 2 weeks later, we saw the Shelter "mug shots" of our Max and Lily. They were Heaven sent and are STILL huuuuge blessings and pain relief. I will say we did choose to keep them indoors. They are VERY happy and so are we.
