my son sent me a new link today regarding a congressional hearing about UFO's. It's serious stuff.. and I don't mean anyone believes they are real, (they may or may not), but rather the fact that some of the sightings truly ARE very intriguing and thus far inexplicable.

Once again to explain my position, (which I'm sure you know by now)... I find this topic fascinating and I would LOVE for "Alien" UFO's to be real... but no, I don't think they are. I do NOT blame anyone for thinking they are real and that we're being visited. Perfectly rational belief, IMHO.

Won't go into my objections to the possibility, (pretty sure I've done that before)... BUT... love getting new info and following the topic.

Lets assume they are 'real'.... what is your theory on why they are here, their purpose? Merely exploration? Star Trek ethical belief in 'hands off'? Are they intent on conquest? They're droids? I don't really have any theory myself... but I'd love to hear yours. - JamesJM
