One of only two Rams fans that I know lives about a mile from where Slim lived. Slim passed away just a few years ago. He was very reclusive in later years but I have another Bud who lives in Clay Country who said he was a VERY nice man and very humble. I remember seeing Slim Whitman albums...BY K TEL...being advertised on TV in the late 70s.
