I'm about halfway through season 4 of Little House on the Prairie. I just love this show. I think I like it even more than I liked The Waltons.
Mrs. Oleson and Nellie Oleson make me want to hurl. I guess that just speaks of how well the actresses played their parts.
I remembered that Michael Landon was fairly young when he died but I couldn't remember the details so I looked it up. Apparently he had an aggressive form of pancreatic cancer and died at age 54 just 3 months after it was diagnosed. I loved his television work as an actor, director, and producer. Everything he did was for family viewing and I'm finding the older I get, the more I'm enjoying them. I didn't watch those shows at all when they first aired but watching them now... I'm just loving all of them. When I finish the Little House series, I may tackle Highway to Heaven next which Michael Landon also produced and starred in.
