yea , kinda the same way , when I was a kid , never watched it , always thought it was kinda corny

but...........

well , for years now , Iowa PBS shows British comedy tv shows on Saturday nights starting at 7:00 , but the Lawrence Welk always comes on at 6:00 , so I would turn in early to watch my British Comedies and catch the last 5 or 10 minutes of the Lawrence Welk , well over the years I started tuning in earlier and earlier ,

and now I'm addicted to it.....................lol

mostly the ones from the 70's and early 80's

and now I love the corniness and wholesomeness of the show

did I really dress like that in when I was kid ................lol
