Yesterday morning I was 'awoken' by a song playing in my head. And it was a song I have not listened to in YEARS. That ever happen to you?... well, this gets a little odd.
The song was "Spinning" by Christopher Cross. It was on one of my all time favorite albums and to this day probably has my all time favorite song "Sailing"... This was like 3am, and the song was SO in my head I put on my ear pods and cranked it up. A lady sings with him on that song... I had looked her up before but had forgotten her name.
Valerie Carter... so I got to wondering if she was still recording today.... she's not. She died 4 years ago, fairly young, late 60's, of a heart attack... but get this... she died on March 4th... the day I dreamed about her singing that song after NOT having heard that song for maybe 10 years or more.
