Grandson wants to try and get into the University of British Columbia. His great grandfather (my dad) was a Canadian Citizen born in Harrisburg in 1904. Migrated to the U.S. in 1937 so he could enlist in the U.S. Navy in the fight against Hitler. He was lost at sea before the conflict was over. Do you think my grandson might be the beneficiary of any consideration based on this ? He's interested because of their high ranking in their engineering college. Plus they have something called a ski racking team-and he's very fast !
