I have a Garmin watch..

that is real similar to a Fitbit.. I've had two Fitbits, but both broke in the same manner: taking them off to shower and other water activities, the band broke away from the body.. since its a one piece thing, breaking away from the body also killed the electronics.. The Garmin I have cost about $30, is water-proof, tells time, date, heart rate, steps and all that.. small, cheap, and reliable..
