Can't remember which grade I was in... probably 6th? Remember shooting rubber bands with your finger? We had a contest shooting and killing flies. We kept the fly corpses for an entire school year then tallied them up on the last day of school before summer vacation. I WON! I'm sure you can appreciate the honor I feel for having won... and every so often I tell that story, bursting with pride... like I'm doing now.
