we used to catch them in our fist and fling them at a solid surface.....knock 'em out....I must admit I am a fly assassin....I can sit out side on the deck and do away with sometimes dozens of them in a day in the summer. I always say that if they choose to live, go next door.....I drives Mary nuts, she's out there laying out, reading and there I am next chair over....whap...whap...whap,whap...whap....
