Despite losing three of their five starting pitchers to start the year (May, Kershaw and Bauer) they still have one of the best records in the game. Their pitching has carried them the past month as the offense has gone on vacation.
If Taylor wasn't slumping and if Pollock didn't injure himself on a needless play the Dodgers could tolerate Bellinger's anemic bat. Losing Taylor and Pollock's production magnifies Bellinger's struggles all the more.
I get that the shoulder limits Bellinger. What I don't get is that he's lost all concept of the strike zone. That has nothing to do with the shoulder.
