That bridge the shark goes under to get him in the pond is a really popular place to stop halfway between where the ferries let you off on Martha's Vineyard and the town of Edgartown (which is the town of 'Amity' in the movie). We've gone a couple times while there and people jump off that bridge into the 15' or so of water (on the ocean facing side). Our kids love it. The Kintner boy getting killed and other beach scenes were done right there too.
