Paul McCartney, Mick Fleetwood and others mention in their books that they were friends with him and mention stories of him being a nice guy
I think Lou Gramm of Foreigner mentions in his book that he as a teenager saw the Stones with his girlfriend and a young girl jumps on the hood of Jones' limo as he gets in and she falls off. He gets out out of the car and tends to her while the police check her out and he kisses her on the head, etc. Only when she checks out ok, does he get back in limo and leave. Can't see S Tyler, Led Zepplin, Ozzy or anyone from Motley Crew doing that.
