I agree, for me it was also the music. And though I didn't follow them individually, like I did the Beatles..., besides Jagger, I've always recognized Watts, and of course Keith Richards. I more consider The Rolling Stones as a fairly good size piece to the sound track of my early life (in my mind of course). I'm talking about the 60's & 70's. They are right there with Elvis, The Beatles, Motown, and many others...
Charlie Watts may not have been one of the biggest names, but he most certainly was part of one of the biggest bands, in one of the biggest musical era's ever.
