my first impression of a movie with my impression today came with the movie "Close Encounters of the Third Kind".

I wasn't just unimpressed after my first viewing I just plain disliked it. Today... I think it's one of the greatest movies ever made. So why the disparity?

I don't know... it makes no sense... I think during my first viewing I must have been in a VERY bad mood or drunk... and I'm pretty sure I wasn't drunk.

Now I did not include movies I had to see when I was a kid and then saw again as an adult... for obvious reason. - JamesJM
