Re: Hummingbirds are cool cats....

On the west coast we have Anna's hummingbirds. They don't fly south for the winter so we always use to leave the feeder out all winter long and would put a heat lamp next to it to keep it from freezing. I've seen them huddled under the heat lamp when the temp gets below freezing. Don't know how those little things survive in those temps but somehow they do.
