I got up, looked into the courtyard and saw a dead bird just lying on the ground.. I decided I needed to bury it by the squirrel and by our first Beagle in the backyard under the tree we planted as a memorial to two other Beagles.. So, I gathered him up - he was a Robin - and my littlest Beagle Gypsie is infatuated with Robins.. So, I didn't let Gypsie see me do any of this, gathered him up and buried him in the back yard.. I guess the spot under that tree will be a last resting place for all the neighborhood animals that pass away in our yard, or street.. I really hope there aren't many more..
Friendship is like peeing your pants.. Everybody can see it, but only you can feel the warmth..
