it's not something I can point to and say that's why......I know the sound was influential, I know a lot of these early bands were influenced by the same people in RB from the USA....I think it may have been the look a bit....the suits and hair.....the Stones looked more "workman like" and over time...I mean they have lasted, yes both bands lost guys, but the Stones are still the Stones. It's not that I don't listen to the Beatles, I do, but they just don't groove me like the Stones do......and yes I really can't stand Phil Collins.
