They had a nice spurt but have been inconsistent most of the last 3-4 years.
Cardinals have been inconsistent all season. We're below .500 right now and the season is half over!! We got swept by the Cubs in a 3-game series just 3 1/2 weeks ago. Right now Cardinals are in a 3-game series with the San Francisco Giants who happen to have the best record in baseball. We've played 2 of 3 games and have beat them both times. Go figure. The third game is tonight.
