Thanks, yeah... just read a short description of Peaky Blinders...

I've watched a few British crime shows lately and I like them, for the most part. There were a couple I didn't care for but mostly I think they are very well written and performed. Like I've said before, nobody does 'murder' as well as the British.

The Waltons - actually the way you describe is precisely why I think I might like it. I'm all for wholesome family entertainment and in fact think we could use a hell of lot more it.

Couple of weeks ago I watched a movie called "An Inspector Calls" starring, among others, David Thewlis... whom I like as an actor. It wasn't one of my favorite movies but I thought it was VERY original and intriguing. I really like when something 'new' is presented in video even when the overall movie I may not consider top quality.... not saying this movie was NOT top quality just that it didn't impress me the way some other's in this genre did except for the originality of the plot, which was amazing IMHO. - JamesJM
