And how will you know that? Is there a Family Reunion Vaccine Monitor who will be canvassing family members and keeping track?
IF my family was having a reunion this year (we aren't), I know that's what I'd do. I wouldn't take the chance that someone shows up without being vaccinated or tested only to say, "oh, my bad. I should have told ya'll earlier." I can tell ya for sure that one of my brothers has told us he doesn't believe in the vaccine nor does he plan on getting one. I'm glad we're NOT having a reunion this year cause I know that his stance will cause controversy among other family members and it would be just a real mess.
Well, at least your brother stated his beliefs up front.
And to be honest with you, I support people who don't wish to do certain things...
provided they understand that there are people who do and that there might be rules limiting their participation in things/events.No, you don't have to wear a shirt. But you can't come in my store without one.No, you shouldn't be forced by the government to pay for health insurance. But then you can't use government rules to shield yourself from creditors when you get in a car accidents and can't pay your medical bills. No, you shouldn't be forced to get vaccinated. But if you don't, you can't come to SoFi Stadium to cheer on the Rams so you can infect everyone with the latest mutated virus that the current vaccines may have trouble with. Allegiant Stadium? Maybe. SoFi? Uh, no.This is still a public health crisis.
