You mentioned you Wife having a gun graft. It reminded me of when I became ANAL about a clean mouth. When I was in 4th grade my Mom had major cleaning on her gums that required surgery. They literally had to slit her gums, inside n out, top and bottom, to do a deep clean of some sort of bacteria that had developed. It was some sort of genetic issue. When I got home from school, she was laying down with her mouth packed full of bloody gauze. She told me.... "THIS is what happens when you do not brush your teeth." My Mom had very clean teeth and had always taken care of them. But her ploy WORKED! LOL I have not had a a cavity since 1977.
