yesterday from carbon monoxide poisoning from running a generator without adequate ventilation.. Assuming they had been out of power for 30 plus hours and were trying to stay warm and made a horrible mistake.. I graduated with him - he just retired last week..
I know most people here are not in Texas dealing with this ridiculous loss of power issue, but just be careful if you run a generator..
That's awful, sst. Was he by himself or was his family with him also trying to stay warm? Are they ok? What the heck are people down there supposed to do with no power? How do they do laundry? I saw an article online that said there is no end in sight. I guess as long as it's temperatures are below freezing, groceries in stores are ok, but for how long? What a scary mess. Can't do anything... can't watch tv... can't get on the internet... can't cook (unless you have a gas stove or a grill to cook outside). I feel for ya'll.
