There are many, many "politicians" on both sides of the aisle right here in L.A. County that have broken the outdoor dining rule-so lets be fair here. We have a popular restaurant right here in SJC where we went to pick up some food yesterday to take home and they were open for indoor dining -totally against the rules-and guess what mayor was sitting right there with a group of people unmasked? Hint-he's not on the same political side as Sheila. So she's in the newspaper so lets call her on it. We're all supposed to stay home during these holidays but how many of us did that? Many gathered with family and friends under the theory that these are close enough to us we don't worry. But how do we know who these people have been around? How many traveled to see us on an airplane after spending time in airports, etc. We all will break rules and it doesn't mean we are any better than a politician whose business is to get out in the public where her actions and words will always be public. Yes, she admitted she should not have gone to eat outdoor and she said so saying that eating outdoor one time was not a good example of what she had been saying. Can we give her some credit for all the truly great things -recognized by all-including members of the opposite party-she has accomplished for those less fortunate and in need ?
I know this woman. She is a perfect example of what we need in government. But go ahead and pick on her for eating outdoor one time which she said was a wrong example.
