hydroxychloroquine and a cocktail of other meds (3 of which i take) has proven to work

No...it has not been proven to work.

That's according to multiple international studies.

And having said that my best wishes to your son--may he recover from it quickly.

And. Here's just a brief sample of what was found about hydroxychloroquine :

The New England Journal of Medicine
from [www.practiceupdate.com]

The results of this cluster randomized study show that post-exposure therapy with hydroxychloroquine did not prevent SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Hydroxychloroquine did not have proven benefit for post-exposure prophylaxis and was associated with an increased incidence of adverse events compared with usual care

from Everything you need to know about the COVID-19 therapy trials
The Pharmaceutical Journal

There are thousands of clinical trials investigating treatments and preventative measures for COVID-19.

Among adults hospitalised with respiratory illness from COVID-19, treatment with hydroxychloroquine, compared with placebo, did not significantly improve clinical status at day 14 (Self et al, 9 November 2020);

Pre-exposure prophylaxis with hydroxychloroquine once or twice weekly did not significantly reduce laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 or COVID-19-compatible illness among healthcare workers (Rajasingham et al, 17 October 2020)

Among patients hospitalised with mild-to-moderate COVID-19, the use of hydroxychloroquine, alone or with azithromycin, did not improve clinical status at 15 days as compared with standard care

Hydroxychloroquine did not substantially reduce symptom severity in outpatients with early, mild COVID-19

  They should bubble the playoffs

ferragamo79238December 14, 2020 02:54PM

Ok, but why, exactly? Does that help in some way? (nm)

NFL playoff bubbles a subject of active discussion as COVID cases rise

SeattleRam134December 14, 2020 09:36PM

Aha! Sounds like they're coming around to my idea
