We took him to the Vet about an hour ago and he peed a good spot on the towel in the carrier. Vet says he is still in quite a bit of pain and shock with a long road ahead. Vet was honest.....Says he likes the chances but is still concerned. The peeing eliminated what was the #1 concern and would have been an instant put down. The only bummer..and why we took him in today, is that he is in a LOT of pain. The "good stuff" they gave him yesterday has worn off. They gave us stuff today to "take off the edge". It REALLY sucks hearing him whaling in pain.
