His right rear foot and back of right leg got chomped on by something. The poor guy had maggots on his upper leg from flies landing on the blood. The Vet has to sedate him and wash him first before they can assess anything. Does not appear to be internal organ damage. I'm concerned because by the time we got to the Vet, he was growling at me. He's in a LOT of pain. I'm very thankful he was able to make it home. I told my Wife...JUST IN CASE...she might want to leave work early. I do not THINK it will come to THAT but........
This has me wondering if our other cat was attacked....though evidence was against it. I hope and pray it's relatively minor and nothing antibiotics and a stitch or two can't fix. I REEEEALLY am not ready for me and my Wife to have to make "THE DECISION". Our nerves are still a bit raw from a week and a half ago.
