they lucked out in the Red Sox basically doing a salary dump to get rid of Betts, and I'm glad they paid him long term.....BUT I'd say that they have 3 of the best 10 or 15 position players in all of baseball in Mookie, Cody, and Corey, and their free agency is coming fast. I believe Corey is a FA after next year and Cody is up after the 23 season, and I believe they are both represented by Scott Boras.
I'm thinkin they are going to have to pick between the two....
But back to Betts, I think he is THE difference maker on this team. Friedman pulled of a heist for sure!
