While watching I knew things were different... you just don't see innings like that any more. Well, actually, how would I know? I don't watch enough baseball to know. So let me rephrase that, it 'seemed' unusual to me.
But 108 years unusual? That bit of info caught me off guard, and frankly I was rather stunned by it.
I'd say that was a rather rousing start to the WS.
