I could never sing & play bass at the same time (not that I'm a singer).... I can play rhythm guitar and sing just fine (again, can't really sing).... playing my bass lines, and trying to sing at the same time is like.... like.... like the 2 halves of my brain are just not having it. So I've always admired, and watch in awe a band where the Bassman is the lead singer. Guys like Paul McCartney just blow me away....
