but like you I really do not know.
Frankly... I am completely SHOCKED that this is the first benign 'pre'-cancerous lesion I've ever had... I worked outdoors, without sunscreen, my entire life. NOT like most of you are 'thinking'... I'm talking out in the SUN from morning til night and that 365 days a year, well, except for the 5 days a year we don't get sun.
Sidenote: Had a 'something', can't remember what it's called, on my forehead, just in the hairline... the doctor asked if I wanted it removed, (it was benign), because 'visible' it would leave a 'scar'. Here's how I replied to her, "Scars give me character. I don't care about scars. In fact, I could use a few more scars".
Her reply, "I like your attitude... let's scar it up a bit". Also... she was cute, my doctor I mean. I was scoring points.. which will lead to nowhere but at my age... hubba hubba.
