Man, I really don't know exactly..

My guess is that you had a lesion that, left alone, would develop into cancer, so your doc removed it before it had the opportunity.. So, I'm guessing cancer starts as a benign lesion that gets horrifically worse left untreated? I dunno... but that's my guess..
