because I don't yet know for sure if I have gall stones.. but I HAVE had kidney stones and to me - at least - they go 0 to 100 on the pain scale in about 3-4 minutes.. I can feel the pressure in this one spot in my lower back and I'll immediately run and chug as much water as I can stand.. then lie down and suffer for about an hour, usually.. just intense, searing, stabbing pain.. I've had second degree burns and this rivals second degree burns, although a totally different kind of pain..

What's going on now is similar.. I can feel the "pressure" in the same spot in my abdomen, but the same pain is coming out of my back like some yahoo stabbed me in the gut while another stabbed me in the back in the same exact place.. I've only gotten them at night - once while asleep.. just hunched over lying on the floor moaning, stabbing pain.. its VERY similar to kidney stone pain, just in a different area.. But, since I haven't been diagnosed yet, I can't say anything for sure..

I could even imagine what else it could be.. it only happened 3 times now.. last week I felt the"pressure" then went a gulped down this apple cider vinegar concoction that is supposed to dissolve gall stones - and the pain didn't take off.. it actually slowly went away.. so, that's one more point for it being gall stones..

I get the upper and lower GI on the 3rd.. I get the sonogram on the 26th.. should be fun!
